Don’t stop, America.  Not just as we have finally started to find our voice after more than a decade of disparaging fear tactics and eery silence amongst the almost the whole of the general population.

This country may have hope yet if we remember that when joined, our voices can drown those trying to destroy the American Spirit. Do they so easily forget that there is 99 percent of US?? Rebels. Dreamers. Revolutionaries. Not partisan… but ‘We The People’.

AIDS is considered an epidemic in the US and has held such status for many years. As of 2011 the statistic stood at 3% of the American population infected with HIV.

Yet fund raisers continue every year by large corporations to ‘help’ and/or ‘find a cure’. Millions of dollars given to, yes, what is a good and noble cause.

But these donations are more often than not a tax write-off. A 501(c)(3) legal dump of money to keep from giving said money to the government in the form of much needed taxes.

Yet fifty percent of U.S. workers earned below the poverty level last year. And ‘helping’ those in working yet still in poverty (in any way shape or form)… is socialism… communism.. someone sound the Red Scare alert!

It’s a shame making below the poverty level doesn’t qualify one for 501(c)(3) status. Corporations would be throwing money at the blue collar, working class by the handfuls. Because then that money still wouldn’t go to the government. And they’d get a plaque on their wall for their ‘good deed done’.
