LARRY ROIBAL DRAWING ON OBSERVATIONS

Having earlier reminded his own party members to ‘behave like grownups’ no matter the outcome, John Boehner (R-OH) certainly wasted no time in being the first to lose his cool. Red faced and frothing at the mouth, he makes is final effort to get fellow House members to see things his way.

“Can you honestly say the bill came about through transparency and openness? Hell no you can’t!” Boehner shouted with fury in his every word. “Have you read the bill? Have you read the reconciliation bill? Have you read the manager’s amendment? Hell, no, you haven’t.”

As restlessness in the room increased with Boehner’s continued onslaught, Representative David Obey (D-WI), in the chair, had to put the distinguished ‘gentlemen’ back in their place, “Both sides would do well to remember the dignity of the House.”

The only thing of sense that came out of this speech?

“The process here is broken. The institution is broken.”

Now THAT deserves a ‘hell yeah!’.
